Robin Lehner has on several occasions previously openly shared about his mental illness in the journey to the stars.
As recently as the spring of 2018, he went into the wall and signed up for treatment homes to get help with alcohol and drug abuse, mental health problems and panic attacks.
He has represented the Ottawa Senators, New York Islanders, Chicago Blackhawks, Buffalo Sabers and most recently the Vegas Golden Knights in the NHL.
