Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, Liverpool's top scorer, revealed the latest developments in the issue of renewing his contract with the English club, expressing his hope to stay as long as possible in the ranks of the "Reds".

This came during a lengthy interview that Salah held with MBC Egypt, and he said, "I have matured more, more than the first, and as a player I began to see what I lack to improve, life continues and I always try to develop with it."

Regarding his relationship with the team coach, Salah said, "My relationship with Klopp is very good, he always tries to get what I have, and I always try to give everything I have for him and the club. Our relationship is good and professional."

Salah touched on many important issues that aroused the interest of the masses, including the issue of renewing his contract with Liverpool, especially that the Egyptian star's contract will expire in the summer of 2023.

Salah said in this regard, "The decision is not in my hands, for me I want to stay in Liverpool, but the matter is up to the administration to resolve this matter."

"At the moment, I prefer to stay in the Premier League, because it is the strongest league in the world," he added.

On the reason for delaying the renewal of his contract with Liverpool, Salah replied, "It is not a condition that there should be a problem, but we must reach an agreement on the subject of the contract. I said that I want to stay, but it is up to them."

And there were recently some reports that Salah’s material demands are hindering negotiations with Liverpool, as she confirmed his demand to obtain half a million pounds per week (660,000 dollars), which the club’s management opposes until this moment because it has to pay the largest contract in the club’s history. .

In his speech, Salah referred to this matter by saying that "the material value shows how much the club appreciates you, and that the club is ready to do anything for your survival."

And he added, "The decision itself is not based on those financial matters only; there are things such as the ambition of the team and the coach and what he wants to do with the team and the players, and this is an important point in making the decision."

Mohamed Salah offers more than wonderful levels with his colleagues in Liverpool, which made him the first star in the team and an important demand for major clubs such as Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Salah said in this regard, "I read what was said about Xavi's desire to include me in Barcelona. This is something that makes me happy .. that a team like Barcelona takes care of me, but I am happy in Liverpool, and we will see what happens in the future."

He continued, "Sometimes there is selfishness between us in some matches. I cannot say that one of us puts his interest before the team's interest in this case, but to a large extent I see that these things are not intentional, such as that Mane sees me and does not pass, and the same for me I do not intend not to give him." passes".

And he continued, “There was a sensitivity between us in a previous situation, so when anything new happens, everyone returns to the previous situation, when Mane shouted while leaving the field, but he made me a goal two games ago, and I also made a goal for him, so Things are normal."

He continued, "The relationship with Mane off the field is good, because we spend a lot of time together in the dressing room, matches and the gym. The relationship is based on respect, and I have never entered into any crisis with him outside the field."

In response to the question: "Did Mane speak badly of you?"

Salah said: "This is not true .. He did not talk about me, and I also did not do this matter. The widespread talk about the dispute between us revolves around not passing it to him or not only passing it to me, but outside the matches we shake hands and it is over."

Salah's talk about his unwillingness to drink alcohol sparked widespread controversy on social media.
