Théo Pourchaire is doing well.
The French driver, the victim of a serious collision with Enzo Fittipaldi at the start of the Formula 2 race of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix on Sunday, gave reassuring news on Twitter in the evening.
“Hi everyone, I just wanted to let you know that I'm doing well overall.
At the moment, I don't know if it's the end of the season for me.
But most importantly, it's not that.
It's because it was really a big accident and Enzo is injured.
I wish him the best possible recovery, ”he wrote on his official account.
Hey everyone,
Just wanted to tell you that I'm globally fine!
For the moment I don't know if it's already the end of the season for me.
But the most important is not that, that was a really big one and Enzo is injured.
I wish him the best recovery possible!

"Theo is fine, he has no fracture", had previously indicated Frédéric Vasseur, the boss of Alfa Romeo F1 to an AFP journalist on the starting grid of the GP.
As for Fittipaldi, he is said to have a broken ankle, according to Brazilian television which covers F1 all year round, or a broken leg, according to other sources.
After stalling on the grid, Pourchaire, winner in May in Monaco, was struck from behind by the Brazilian, grandson of former double Formula 1 world champion Emerson Fittipaldi (1972, 1974).
The race stopped after another accident
"The pilots were immediately taken care of by the emergency and medical teams", was it specified a little earlier in a press release from the International Automobile Federation (FIA), sports authority of F1 and F2 .
They “were aware and were extricated by the medical teams present.
They were transferred by ambulance and helicopter to King Fahad Armed Forces Hospital in Jeddah, ”the FIA added.
The race was immediately interrupted, to start again forty minutes later, then to stop definitively and prematurely after another minor accident and a new red flag.
