Kim Hellberg takes over the main responsibility in IFK Värnamo.

Smålandsklubben is currently preparing for games in the Allsvenskan next season, for the first time in the club's history.

33-year-old Hellberg comes most recently from IFK Norrköping, where he had the role of assistant coach alongside Rikard Norling.

"Want a young, hungry coach"

Kim Hellberg has signed a two-year contract with Värnamo;

it is already clear that Jonas Thern will continue as assistant coach for the club.

- In part, it's about the football we want to play and stand for and that's exactly what Kim stands for.

And partly that we want a young, hungry coach who wants to move forward in his career, says Värnamo's sports director Håkan Söderberg about the recruitment to Värnamo Nyheter.

Kim Hellberg has previously trained Sylvia in division 1.
