Norway and Russia stepped in with two strong teams each in the men's relay.

And it was also they who made up for the victory.

It was double Norwegian and double Russian first into the last change and the four riders who finished for the team were followed for the entire last leg.

In solitary majesty, they then entered the riot where there was a sprint agreement between Johannes Hösflot Kläbo in Norway's first team and Sergei Ustiugov in Russia's second team.

Kläbo pulled the longest straw and secured the victory for Norway.

Closely followed by Russia's second team and Norway's second team which took home third place.

Russia's first team finished fourth.

Only 55 seconds later did the ensuing cluster with Italy in the lead.

Sweden's first team had to settle for a sixth place, just over 58 seconds behind Norway.

Sweden's second team never finished because it only consisted of three skiers.
