Sweden won the World Cup premiere against Uzbekistan 46-15 and for Nina Dano it was five goals in five attempts.

- It is safe and nice to know that you can.

Then I want to perform the whole championship and that is probably what will be the challenge, to keep that level throughout the championship, says Nina Dano to SVT Sport.

"Similar match picture as against Uzbekistan"

Dano also made good matches in the World Cup genre rope against Montenegro and the national team captain Tomas Axnér added extra for the Swedish right-hander, who as recently as six months ago had little time to play during the Olympics.

- I have developed and brought with me more I can use in matches and feel more secure in what I do, and above all more mature.

Do you feel ready to take on a bigger role in the national team?

- Yes, I would say that.

I feel safer in the environment and in the gang.

Today, the group game continues for Sweden against Puerto Rico.

- I think it will be a similar match as against Uzbekistan, the match picture will look the same, says Dano.

No danger with Lagerquist

In the premiere, midfielder Anna Lagerquist received a blow to the nose and began to bleed.

She got off and then never came back into play.

But there is no major danger with the 28-year-old.

- It was nothing serious.

I got a real slap but it was nothing more than that, says Lagerquist.

Sweden meets Puerto Rico at 15.30 today.
