Substitute Abdul Hamdan preserved Saudi Arabia's chance to qualify for the Arab Cup quarter-finals after scoring a 1-1 draw with the hard-working Palestine team in the second round of Group C at the World Cup Stadium on Saturday.

This tie was in favor of the Moroccan team, which qualified for the quarter-finals after collecting 6 points from two consecutive victories.

Rasheed Muhammad gave the Palestine team the lead in the second minute of stoppage time for the first half with a huge shot from a long range that landed in the net against Saudi goalkeeper Zaid Al Bawardi.
