His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, affirmed the emirate's keenness to organize and host local and international sports tournaments, referring to the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, the necessity of paying attention to marine sports and encouraging the establishment of competitions that enhance the presence of the emirate in global sporting activity.

This came during the coronation of His Highness, accompanied by Sheikh Saif bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Fujairah Free Zone Authority and Chairman of the Fujairah International Marine Club, the winners of the third round of the World Powerboat Championship - Fujairah Grand Prix, which was held under the patronage of His Highness on the Fujairah Corniche, organized by Fujairah International Marine Sports Club.

Dubai Police 3 won the first place, led by the duo Aref Al Zaffin and Nader Bin Hindi, and the Italian boat 6 "Monaco", led by Tommaso Yuli and Matthew Nicolini, won second place, while the Abu Dhabi team's boat took third place led by Rashid Al Tayer and Majid Al Mansouri.

His Highness congratulated the winners for their victory in the competition rounds and their achievement of advanced positions in sports competitions. His Highness also praised the level of organization of the tournament, which confirms the readiness of the Emirate of Fujairah to successfully host international sporting events and achieve its goals.

The coronation ceremony was attended by Salem Al-Zahmi, Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah.
