After a sixth place, a victory and a second place, Frida Karlsson left the world cup premiere in Ruka with the credible yellow vest - the one that indicates leadership in the overall world cup.

But there was a risk that she would get rid of it already during the first day of competition in Lillehammer.

- We talked about this last night in the room.

"There is one who can take over the vest, she must win both the prologue and the final to do so," says Karlsson, referring to Maja Dahlqvist.

And Karlsson seemed convinced that his friend would succeed - the yellow vest was already waiting when Daglqvist returned to the hotel after the sprint victory.

- This morning I put it on the pillow, says Karlsson.

But despite the West loss, she was, of course, delighted with Dahlqvist's success.

- It was super stable, if she had had to go faster she would have done it.

She's in great shape, it's impressive to see.
