The Moroccan public affirmed its permanent solidarity with Palestine, in the match between the Moroccan team and its Palestinian counterpart in the 2021 Arab World Cup in Qatar.
Moroccan fans in the stadium "Al Janoub" raised their keffiyeh and Palestinian flags, to express their solidarity with the Palestinian people, even though they are their competitors in the stadium.
Activists on social media circulated pictures of the Moroccan fans with the keffiyeh and the Palestinian flag, and considered them "wonderful and beautiful" from the fans in the stadium.
The Lebanese playwright and actor Ziad Itani said about the clip, "A wonderful painting presented by the Moroccan audience in the match with Palestine in support and advocacy for the Palestinian people and a word of truth from the Arab peoples in the face of normalization."
The match ended with Morocco's 4-0 victory over Palestine.
