Yesterday, NRK announced that Johannes Hösflot Kläbo refuses to wear the logo from one of the Norwegian Ski Association's sponsors, Viaplay.

When he competed in Ruka, he refused to wear the logo on the competition suit and the idea was that he would not wear it in the future either.

- This is an important matter of principle and it is willing to have a discussion about, even if it is an Olympic season, he then told NRK.

But early on Thursday morning, the turning point came.

"Will not continue the debate"

During the World Cup competitions in Lillehammer, Kläbo will wear the same competition clothes as the rest of the national ski team, which includes the Viaplay logo.

According to the Norwegian Ski Association, they are now putting the matter behind them.

- Johannes and the ski association do not have the same view on this issue, but I am glad that we still agree on how we should relate to this in the future, says length manager Espen Bjervig.

Kläbo believes that this is not about Viaplay's editorial investment, but that it is a matter of principle.

- For me, it has been important to convey my concerns in relation to credibility and independence.

And although I will not continue this debate, it is an important debate.

I have managed to get it on the agenda and show where I stand in this case, says Kläbo in a press release.
