The information was initially broadcast by M6.

International footballer Kheira Hamraoui, victim of a violent ambush on November 4 in Yvelines, was heard again Monday by investigators.

According to the Versailles prosecutor's office, the Paris Saint-Germain player was "questioned about her personal life" by the judicial police, in particular on her links with the former international Eric Abidal.

But "no significant element" emerged from this hearing, according to a source close to the file.

Eric Abidal's name appeared in the proceedings after investigators established a material connection with the victim, who was using a chip in the footballer's name on his mobile phone.

The midfielder played for FC Barcelona at a time when Eric Abidal was sporting director of the Catalan club.

His lawyer reacts

These revelations had caused a stir: the wife of the former French international had then announced that she was going to file a divorce petition and assured that Eric Abidal had confessed to her having had a relationship with Kheira Hamraoui.

"We imperatively wish to preserve the private life of Mrs. Hamraoui and allow her to resume training as quickly as possible as well as [preserve] the secrecy of the investigation and of the judicial information in progress", reacted her lawyer Saïd Harir.

In this case, a judicial investigation was opened on November 15 against X for "criminal association with a view to preparing an offense punishable by at least five years" and "violence aggravated by three circumstances, followed by incapacity n 'not exceeding eight days'.
