Jordan's national team loses Al-Awad services because of Corona... and summoning "Spark"

The Jordanian national football team lost the efforts of its player Anas Al-Awad in the Arab Cup tournament currently being held in Qatar, after he was infected with the Corona virus.

And the Jordanian Federation wrote in a statement on its official website that its Iraqi coach, Adnan Hamad, decided to “call the player Muhammad Abu Zureik (Sharara), a substitute for Anas Al-Awad, who showed medical examinations at his residence in Doha, that he was infected with Corona, “to confirm his absence from the Arab Cup.”

According to the health protocol followed in the tournament, the Awads will adhere to isolation for a period of ten days, which prompted the coach to call “Sharara”, especially since the instructions allow the amendment in the official players list one day before the team’s first match, in the event that one of the players is injured.

Jordan plays Saudi Arabia on Wednesday at the start of its campaign in Group C.
