Emirates flies over the Rugby Stadium to celebrate the 50th Etihad Day

The Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens will start tomorrow, with the participation of 16 men's teams and the best 12 women's national teams, in addition to a record number of teams invited to compete in many local and regional rugby and netball competitions over a period of three days.

To celebrate the golden jubilee of the UAE, one of the Emirates aircraft bearing the 50th year emblem will fly over the Sevens Stadium between 3:40 and 3:45 pm on Friday.

Emirates Airlines confirmed in a press statement that "the media and the public will be able to take pictures and videos of the aircraft on its flight path, while adhering to the safety guidelines of the General Civil Aviation Authority to ensure the safe and smooth performance of the air show."
