Theo Bos stops cycling.

The 38-year-old multiple world champion on the track will start as the national coach of the Chinese track cyclists, he tells the AD on Monday.

Bos achieved its greatest success in the first decade of this century.

In 2004, 2006 and 2007 he became world champion sprint and there was also Olympic silver in Athens.

He went for gold in the Greek capital in 2004, but did not make it in the final, after which he missed a medal at the 2008 and 2016 Games.

Bos has been active on the road since 2009, but had less success there.

He only sprinted to victories in smaller rounds such as the Eneco Tour, the Tour of Turkey and the Tour of Poland.
