The Table Tennis World Cup is in full swing in Houston.

In the third round, Truls Möregårdh faced Patrick Franziska.

After losing the first set 11-3, the Swede got off to a really good start and won three straight sets.

Opponent Patrick Franziska is ranked number 14 in the world.

With a disadvantage of 3-1 in the set, the German also showed his class and came back and was able to equalize to 3-3 and the match had to be decided in the arbitration set.

Saved match balls

There it was very even and a real thriller.

Franziska got two match balls but Möregårdh managed to save both.

The Swede then decided the match when he got his second match ball and took home the victory with 4-3 in sets.

And he was very pleased with his own efforts.

- I'm extremely happy right now but so tired in my head that I can not show it.

This is probably my main victory ever as Franziska is so good and hard to beat and that it happens at a World Cup, he says to the Table Tennis Association.

Karlsson also continues

Another Swede is also ready for the round of 16.

Kristian Karlsson defeated the Frenchman Alexandre Cassin 4-2.

- I think the last set is my best in the tournament.

I play fantastically well and probably put him a little when I flash a little like I might not have done earlier in the match, says Karlsson.
