The competitions for the third edition of the ADNOC Abu Dhabi Marathon will start today, with a record participation of 12,000 male and female competitors representing the world’s elite runners, as well as all segments of society who participate in the exceptional event organized by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and sponsored by the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC). The marathon will be held for the third year, under the slogan "Run in Abu Dhabi", and in conjunction with the country's celebrations of the 50th National Day, where the individual marathon for a distance of 42.2 km, and the double marathon - a relay of 42.2 km, and the People of Determination race on bicycles, will start at 5:45 am from In front of the headquarters of «ADNOC» on the Abu Dhabi Corniche.
