Mirza raises the UAE medals in the Arab Championship to 44 after the bronze in mountain bikes

Today, the star of the cycling team, Youssef Mirza, won a historic medal, his first in the mountain bike category, and came a bronze in the Arab Championship currently being hosted by Egypt.

This is the 44th medal for the UAE in the championship, as the team will finish its participation next Saturday, in the BMX race.

Mirza became the only Arab cyclist in the championship who participated in all categories (road, track, and mountain bikes), and won all of them, winning 8 medals.

The President of the Cycling Federation, Mansour Bouassiba, expressed his happiness with the great achievement, and said in a press statement: We wished he would not participate in the race, but he insisted on participating and achieved a new achievement for the UAE.

On the other hand, the first delegation of the cycling mission returned to the Emirates yesterday evening through Dubai International Airport, and included the female and junior teams, while tomorrow evening the delegation of the adult team and a number of young cyclists.
