Sweden currently has a relatively low spread of covid-19, but it is expected that it will increase as it has done in many other countries in Europe.

Therefore, the government has now made the decision to introduce vaccination certificates at indoor events with over 100 people and it thus includes many sports events.

- Yesterday we made that decision.

It is not a requirement for a vaccination certificate, but organizers who use it do not have to limit their event, says Amanda Lind who is responsible for sports issues.

If an organizer chooses not to require vaccination proof from his visitors, he is subject to other restrictions.

Then the participants need to have a designated seat, the parties must not be larger than eight people and they must be a distance of at least one meter between each party.

The government also said that they have given FHM an assignment to provide a basis for the introduction of additional infection control measures and phased out infection control measures.

- From the dialogue in recent years with the actors of culture and sports, we have learned that it is important with this type of message.

It is important to be able to give those affected by the opportunity to plan, says Lind.
