The champions of the cycling team, Youssef Mirza and Ahmed Al-Mansoori, achieved the gold medal in the Madison race, to conclude the track championship with the best finish, after achieving the lead in the race by a large difference from all the participants, bringing the number of Emirati medals in the Arab championship currently held in Egypt, so far to 43 colored medals, including 11 gold, 18 silver and 14 bronze, which is a historical number for UAE bikes in the Arab championships.

The mountain bike championship begins today, in which the national team participates in the adult and youth categories, and concludes with a BMX race next Saturday, before announcing the conclusion of the championship.

Youssef Mirza concluded the third day of the track championship with the gold of the points race over a distance of 25 km.

The ceremony of crowning Youssef Mirza with the gold medal was witnessed by the Egyptian Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, and the President of the Egyptian and African Union, Dr. Wajih Azzam, who honored the winners.

The UAE women's team concluded its participation in the championship with the track championship, and achieved 21 colored medals, which is a historical number for the female team that participates in the championship in the female, female and under 23 categories.

The President of the Federation, Mansour Bouaseba, expressed his happiness with what was achieved for the Emirates Cycling, and thanked all members of the mission, including riders and administrators, for their efforts in the Arab Championship, especially since what happened was not well prepared for it, especially in the track, due to maintenance Al-Ittihad track two years ago, and he wished the team success in the remaining competitions.
