Team Hasselborg took an important victory in the curling European Championship against Italy in the morning.

During the evening, they followed it up with another strong effort when they defeated the great nation Switzerland by 8-3.

After an even start, team Hasselborg connected the grip through a third in the fourth round.

- A very well-executed round of Sweden where you force your opponent out on the edge where you do not have the same control on the move, says SVT Sports expert Eva Lund.

The Swedish team followed up with a second in the seventh round and at the position 8-3, Switzerland finally chose to throw in the towel after the eighth round.

The Swedish ladies now have three wins and two losses in this year's curling European Championship which is played in Lillehammer, Norway.

Tomorrow, matches against Turkey and Estonia await for team Hasselborg.
