The Organizing Committee of the Qatar Football Flag Cup 2022 revealed the dates and venues for the World Cup matches, which will be held for the first time in the Middle East and the Arab region.
The committee said in an official statement that Al Bayt Stadium - which takes the name and character of the traditional tents inhabited by the desert dwellers in the Gulf region and accommodates 60,000 spectators - will host the opening match of the tournament, which the Qatari team will be one of the two sides of on November 21, 2022 at 13:00 local time. The committee added that the start times for the group stage matches have been set at 13:00, 16:00, 19:00 and 22:00 local time as well, and the matches that are played at the same time (the matches of the last round of the group stage), while the matches of the exit stage will be held. Knockout at 18:00 and 22:00.

The statement stated that Khalifa International Stadium will host the third-place standings match on December 17, while the final match will be played one day later at 18:00 at Lusail Stadium, which has a capacity of 80,000 spectators.

The Organizing Committee for the Qatar 2022 World Cup confirmed that in order to provide adequate comfort for all teams between their matches, 4 matches will be played per day during the 12-day group stage, which will allow the fans to enjoy an integrated and exciting schedule, as it will allow the compact and close nature of the tournament - without the need for flights between stadiums. For the organizers, for the first time in the history of the competition, to meet the demands of each match separately, in the interests and comfort of fans, teams and the media.
The committee said that this will be achieved by choosing the playing days for each group, the stadium and the start time of each match, and it will not come until after the final draw to be held after the end of the international qualifying matches calendar for the tournament in March 2022.

The committee added that all stadiums are close, and the weather will be ideal in Qatar during that time period of the year, whether at the beginning or end of the tournament, and indicated that the audience will have a unique opportunity to attend more than one match in one day during the group stage. .
