The committee added that the start times for the group stage matches have been set at 13:00, 16:00, 19:00 and 22:00 local time as well, and the matches that are played at the same time (the matches of the last round of the group stage), while the matches of the exit stage will be held. The Organizing Committee for the Qatar 2022 World Cup confirmed that in order to provide adequate comfort for all teams between their matches, 4 matches will be played per day during the 12-day group stage, which will allow the fans to enjoy an integrated and exciting schedule, as it will allow the compact and close nature of the tournament - without the need for flights between stadiums.
