Team Edin has become European Champion five of the last six times.

With the impressive facility, they went in as favorites when the European Championships in Lillehammer started on Saturday.

But, it turned out to be a much tougher start than expected.

Scotland connected the grip directly and went up in a 3-0 lead after three rounds.

Scotland continued to impress and went up after six rounds the score was clear 6-1.

In the seventh round, the hope was gone and Sweden chose to give up the match.

Team Edin, however, gets a chance for revenge already tomorrow when they face both Denmark and Finland.

It went better for Team Hasselborg.

In the European Championship premiere against the Czech Republic, Sweden won 5-3.
