Before the break, Örebro had gone like the train and taken six straight SHL victories - but lost on Thursday away to Oskarshamn after penalties.

And on Saturday night, Luleå also put a stop to the close-knit gang's crazy home suite that stopped at eight straight wins in a sold-out Behrn arena.

But it was an energetic gang that came out at flying speed.

After three minutes, Kristian Näkyvä sent in the first goal in the cross from back position, played by former Luleå forward Robin Kovacs who scored in six straight games.

"Far too careless"

The national team-qualified defender Jonathan Andersson, who left for Luleå this spring after four seasons in Örebro, was not happy with the guests' start.

- We neglect far too much, especially in our own zone, Jonathan Andersson told C More in the first period break.

But the change of scene was total in the second period when Norrbotten turned the match - and it was Jonathan Andersson who showed the way to his former club when he distinctly sent in the puck behind goalkeeper Jhonas Enroth.

And after half the match, Julius Honka scored 2-1 to the guests - after negligence from Örebro in his own zone.

Switched place in the table

The home team then got a dream start in the third period - after just a few seconds Robin Kovacs crashed in from the west - made a long pull and hit the puck in the post whereupon Christopher Mastomäki finally sent the puck into the empty box.

But after just under ten minutes, Linus Omark made sure that Luleå again took the lead in boxplay when Jonathan Andersson was in the penalty box after a controversial duel with Örebro forward Oliver Eklind.

Norrbotten could then persevere and win - which means that the teams exchanged places with each other in the SHL table.

- Örebro is better than us in the first, we are on our heels.

Others we do a very good period.

In the third, it is a position war and we pull the longest straw, said match hero Linus Omark in C More.
