Henrik von Eckermann was one of five riders with flawless rounds in the first round and had acquired an excellent position in the money-tight super final in the Global Champions Tour.

von Eckermann and King Edward tpog around in 69.26 seconds and were the fastest of the flawless riders - and thus one before the second and final round.

And there he made no mistake either.

The 40-year-old was once again flawless - and thus took home the prestigious super final.

- This year is not over yet but so far it has been a year that I will never forget, says Henrik von Eckermann in Eurosport's broadcast.

Peder Fredricson, who has previously secured the overall victory in the Global Champions Tour, was seventh before the second round.

But Fredricson, who rode Christian K, did not get it all in order and finished twelfth.

The third blue-yellow feature, Malin Baryard Johnsson, had a hard time.

The Swede with her horse El Barone interrupted in the first round and thus was not allowed to ride further in the competition.

The Spaniard Sergio Alvarez Moya was second and the British Ben Maher third.
