From 1 December, organizers of sports events with more than 100 people will require a vaccination certificate if they are to have full stands.

That message came from the government and the Public Health Agency yesterday and today the RF and the special sports federation gathered for a meeting about it.

- For many, this was both expected and largely welcome.

People are much more worried about new regulations of how many people may be on a certain air surface, distance between chairs and all that, says Björn Eriksson.

That it will come as soon as possible still worries parts of the sports movement.

- Many would like it to be later than the first of December, but my assessment is that it is not very likely.

The pandemic control arguments are so strong, says Eriksson.

Until 1 December, RF will have a dialogue with FHM and the police about the details.

- There are more detailed questions like, for example, special rules for admission and how to deal with covid certificates from other countries.

There will be solutions to these issues.

Eriksson also wants to highlight that there are questions that you will never get answers to.

- There will be a number of questions about suitability.

There will never be an answer from FHM, but then a burden falls on sports and the sports movement that must make an interpretation for each individual case.

What do you do, for example, if you have a non-profit leader who is unvaccinated, he should continue to train his group?

Those questions are quite big and it is something that a lot of people bring up with me.
