Ingvild Flugstad Östberg has for a long period had health problems that have been linked to a lack of energy.

Teammate and one of the world's mainly cross-country skiers Therese Johaug believes that as an athlete you train a lot in different periods.

And that you then do not always get the right amount of energy in relation to how much you train.

- You balance on the knife edge, but you get very good guidance from the Olympic Summit (Norwegian Olympic Association, editor's note) and the ski association, Johaug says to SVT Sport.

Have you been near any border yourself?

- No, but it is clear that you have trained a lot in periods.

Then you have to make adjustments around, and there we have people around us who are good and keep track of our health, she says.

"Feeling in good shape"

This weekend, the Norwegian cross-country skiing premiere kicks off in Beitostölen.

Norway's biggest star will start, but not in the sprint.

Johaug will ride the distance races, and she is charged.

- I feel in good shape.

It will be exciting to see how it goes this weekend.

How important is it to get a receipt for form immediately?

- It is important to get good results after the weekend.

But I have calculated that I need more races in my body, and I hope that I reach my highest level already next week.
