At the end of October, the San Jose Swedes Erik Karlsson and Jonathan Dahlén, among others, were put on the NHL's covid-19 protocol.

Karlsson was back in the match against the Colorado Avalanche last Saturday, and last night came the first goal after the illness.

San Jose beat Minnesota Wild 4-1 on away ice and in the second period Karlsson thundered in the 3-1 goal in game four against four.

- We made a good match as a team, but if I was so alert I do not know.

I still have not fully recovered, but it is getting better and better.

It was nice to be able to do that goal as well, I needed that, says Erik Karlsson.

Karlsson said that he was hit quite hard by covid-19:

- I got really sick.

It was not fun at all.

Especially since I'm vaccinated, but it did not seem to help me much.

Joel Eriksson Ek scored Minnesota goal in the match.
