Three hours before kick-off, the football field in Edmonton was covered in snow and the thermometer showed 16 degrees below zero.

Cyle Larin, everyday in the Turkish Besiktas, managed to score both goals of the match - which of course were celebrated in a pile of snow.

The match ended 2-1 to Canada and it was the first time since 1976 that Canada defeated Mexico in a World Cup qualifier.

Canada now leads the table and there are six matches left of the qualifiers.
