With Chile losing to Ecuador, and Uruguay to Bolivia, Argentina is now ready for the World Cup next year.

Argentina, undefeated in the qualifiers, thus joins Brazil among the South American countries that will surely play in the World Cup.

Tonight's match between the countries, however, ended 0-0.

The meeting between Ecuador and Chile, on the other hand, ended 2-0 and that together with Uruguay's 3-0 loss against Bolivia is enough for Argentina to be guaranteed to end up in the top four in the South American qualifiers.

Four matches remain to be played and two more countries can directly qualify for the World Cup.

A fifth country goes to the international playoffs.

Third is currently Ecuador, followed by Colombia and Peru.
