According to NHL.com, Ottawa has closed down its training facility and is expected to keep the doors barred for the time being.

The Senators were scheduled to play the New Jersey Devils on Tuesday, then host the Nashville Predators on Thursday and then the New York Rangers this weekend, Saturday.

Those matches will be postponed and the date for each match has not yet been set.

Ten players are said to have tested positive for covid-19 and these are: Drake Batherson, Austin Watson, Alex Fermenton, Dylan Gambrell, Connor Brown, Nick Holden, Victor Mete, Nikita Zaitsev, Josh Brown and Matt Murray.

The next game in the schedule for Ottawa is against the Colorado Avalanche, November 22.
