It is noteworthy that the Serbian team is within the direct ascent to the World Cup finals in Qatar, with a 2-1 victory over Portugal, and leads the first group with 20 points, 3 points ahead of its closest opponents, Portugal, who will have to go to the European play-off.

Activists interacted with Ronaldo and his positive message to the fans, as a number of them expressed their confidence in what the Portuguese could do in order to qualify for the World Cup, while others wished to see Ronaldo in the World Cup - which will often be the last for him and the Argentine star Lionel Messi.

Ronaldo's post on Instagram gained more than 1.5 million likes in less than an hour after it was published, while more than a quarter of a million followers of his Facebook account interacted with him.
