Concern in Liverpool .. Injury of a big star

Liverpool striker, Senegalese international Sadio Mane, was injured during his country's match against Togo (1-1) Thursday in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers and did not complete it.

Mane received a strong blow to the side near his ribs and hip when he came into contact with a Togolese defender. He left the field in the 28th minute and was replaced by Villarreal's Spanish striker Boulay Dia, in a qualifier that ensured Senegal qualified for the decisive final round.

A Senegalese official revealed to Agence France-Presse that Mane will join his Liverpool team, which faces Arsenal, in a summit meeting on November 20 in the local league.

Senegalese coach Aliou Cisse said after the match that he took Mane out as a precaution, "Yes, Mane's exit upset our balance. He is an important player. We relieved him as a precaution and there is no danger."

She did not know the severity of Mane's injury, but if he is out of action for a while, it will be a strong blow to Liverpool, who is missing his other Brazilian striker, Roberto Firmino.

Mane shines remarkably this season, scoring 6 goals in 11 matches in the English Premier League, and scored two goals in the Champions League against Porto and Atletico Madrid in Spain.
