The 17th Winter Olympics Hundred Questions: Where did the creativity of the Beijing Winter Olympics spark lights come from?

In the middle of last month, the Beijing Winter Olympics Tinder arrived in Beijing, and the raging flame carrying the Olympic spirit revisited its place after 13 years.

This means that the Beijing Winter Olympics is about to set sail, and the world's attention is once again focused on China and Beijing.

At the fire welcoming ceremony, the on-site staff used the fire stick to ignite the fire from the fire lamp to light the torch of the Beijing Winter Olympics.

Compared with the "Flying" torch, which has already revealed its true meaning, many people are attracted by the unique and exquisite flame lamps.

The originality of the Beijing Winter Olympics torch relay fire lanterns originated from the Western Han Dynasty Changxin palace lanterns, which were regarded as the "first light in China".

The Changxin Palace Lantern was unearthed in Hebei, one of the competition areas of this Winter Olympic Games. It was unearthed in the tomb of Jing Wang Liu Sheng's wife Dou Wan in Lingshan Zhongshan, Mancheng County in 1968. It is now collected in Hebei Museum as a treasure of the town hall.

After more than 2000 years, although the appearance of Changxin palace lanterns has been rusted, it still reflects the superb level of gilding craftsmanship in the Han Dynasty.

The long letter palace lantern is 48 centimeters high, shaped like a young palace lady kneeling to hold the lamp, and the whole body is gilded.

The lamp panel can be rotated, and the screen plate of the lamp panel can be pushed to open and close to adjust the brightness and direction of the light.

The whole lamp is divided into head, body, right arm, lamp holder, lamp panel, lamp shade and other parts, which can be disassembled at will.

There are 9 inscriptions including "Changxin Shangyu" and "Yangxinjia" with 65 characters on the lamp, which is also the origin of its name Changxin Palace Lantern.

"Long letter" means eternal faith. The Beijing Winter Olympics torch relay fire lamp uses this as a reference, and expresses people's pursuit and yearning for light and hope through the meaning of "Long letter".

The flying red ribbon wraps around the top of the tinder lamp, symbolizing the passion for the Olympics.

The long letter palace lantern is not only exquisite in shape, but also ingeniously designed and environmentally friendly, which is also in line with the concept of green Olympics.

The "lady of the palace" has a hollow body, and the soot enters the body through the right arm, so that it can absorb and exhaust smoke and keep the room clean.
