In the same context, the Al-Nasr administration agreed to the resignation submitted by Hussein Abdel Ghani, Executive Director of Football.

Abdul-Ghani's resignation came against the backdrop of public pressures that demanded his departure, after the team's results had worsened in the past period, expressing its dissatisfaction with the work he presented to the team, especially at the level of psychological preparation, in addition to solving some internal problems.

The previous Al-Nasr administration assigned Abdul-Ghani the task last November 30, and contributed with the team to winning the Super Cup, before submitting his resignation a year later.

The Al-Asimi team, which occupies the ninth place in the league table with two matches postponed, is missing six members who are currently with the national team, as well as the Cameroonian duo Vincent Abubakar and Uzbekistan's Jalaluddin Masharipov, who are with their countries' teams.
