It was in the African Champions League that the accident occurred for Esperance Tunis striker Hamdou Elhouni.
The 27-year-old was given a golden opportunity to make it 2-0 against Libyan Al Ittihad when he ran for a free kick.
But instead, it ended up that Elhouni had to be taken to hospital after an insane tackle by goalkeeper Muad Allafi, who was sent off.
Later in the evening, Esperance Tunis announced that the situation was stable for Hamdou Elhouni.
