It has been a tough Allsvenskan season for Örebro.

This summer it was recruited healthy and the hope of staying in Sweden's highest division was for a long time in the club.

But in today's swinging match against Hammarby, the dream was extinguished after a 3-2 loss.

What it is that has not worked, the club's sports director Axel Kjäll has a hard time putting his finger on shortly after the final signal.

- When you speak out and make an analysis, it should not be in direct connection with the fact that it has become definitive after a match.

There are many parts that we will look at and analyze, he says to SVT Sport.

"Many factors have come into play"

Before the season, he did not think that Örebro would be one of the teams that were relegated.

- For a period, we have seen where it has leaned and for large parts of the season we have been in that part of the table.

If you ask me if I expected before the season or during the summer that we would stay in the lower parts and with three rounds left to be ready for the Superettan, it was obviously not the thoughts.

You really strengthened this summer, why has it not helped?

- Hard to say.

Many factors have come into play.

We have not made it work, neither the whole, how the team worked together, nor the individual development.

The Allsvenskan is a tough series, we have great respect for it.

We have for a long period been a stable team in the middle and it is clear that we have not been close to what we have been this season during the period I have been in ÖSK.

"Feels a great responsibility"

What is your responsibility in this?

- Big, of course.

We have a clear organization and a sports manager.

I am sportingly responsible in terms of recruitment and how to build the squad.

There are many who share responsibility in this, but it is clear that I feel a great responsibility.

Considering the signings this summer, there are, among other things, many heavy salary items.

What will happen there?

- We have for a period worked with parallel tracks.

Revenues will be lower, funds we receive centrally from will be lower and audience figures will probably also be lower.

Our goal is for us to have as strong a squad as possible.

There are some agreements that expire that we will review.

But we also have many under contract.

It has been an intense period and it will be even more intense as it is during the years between December and January.

"A question for the CEO and board"

Is it clear already now that someone / someone is leaving?

- Nothing that is completely clear.

What is the ambition for next season?

- We want to win all matches.

It will come naturally from the club's side.

It will be clearer when the season comes.

Are you still next season?

- You never know.

I am employed by the club and my ambition is to do as good a job as possible and I have no other plans right now.

At the same time, I am well aware that when things do not go as planned, people in leading positions are questioned.

It's not really a question for me, it's a question for the CEO and board to answer.
