Japanese horses won two races in the Breeders' Cup, where G1 races are concentrated in American horse racing.


This is the first time a Japanese horse has won the Breeders' Cup.

The Breeders' Cup is an American horse racing festival with 13 G1 races on Friday and Saturday.



On the 6th, one of the G1, Breeders' Cup Filly & Mary Turf, took place at 2200 meters of turf at Del Mar Racetrack, California.



Twelve mares participated in the race, and from Japan, Jockey Yuga Kawada rode and Loves Only You entered the race.



Loves Only You was in 3rd to 5th position from the beginning of the race and won the race by winning the race on the last straight line.



In addition, Japan's Marche Lorraine won the Breeders' Cup Distaff at 1800 meters on the dirt road.



This is the first time a Japanese horse has won the Breeders' Cup.
