The match was intense from the first minute and it was Gothenburg who initially grabbed the match stick, but MFF grew into the event and finally managed to win.

In the final stages of the match, however, Malmö's goalkeeper Johan Dahlin got a plastic glass with beer thrown at him when he held the ball.

The cage keeper took care of his neck afterwards but did not appear to be in pain.

The former national team striker Marcus Berg, player in Gothenburg, was, however, noticeably annoyed with the home supporters in connection with the incident.

- I do not think it's okay, it should not be thrown in stuff from the stands.

It does not matter if it is a plastic cup with liquid in it - it should not happen.

But it went well and there was no excitement, says Marcus Berg to Fotbollskanalen.

Reported to the union

The match delegate Hans Larsson explains that the situation is reported to the national representative at the Swedish Football Association, who then has to assess whether they should go on to the disciplinary committee or not.

- Thrown objects are always serious, says Hans Larsson to Fotbollskanalen.

If it is possible to find the culprit?

- The police must try to find out together with the clubs, says Larsson.
