It was the Norwegians who took the lead at the Stadio Olimpico.

In extra time in the first half, Ola Solbakken shot nicely from the penalty area line and when the team went out for a half-time break, the Roma players were booed out.

At the beginning of the second half, the Rome team still managed to equalize when Stephan El Shaarawy bent the ball in at the far post.

But Bodö / Glimt, from northern Norway, did not give up.

With 65 minutes played, Erik Botheim of FC fell dramatically just outside the penalty area.

With a few minutes left to play, Roma equalized when the goal line technology showed that Bodö / Glimt goalkeeper Nikita Haikin was inside the goal when he saved Roger Ibañez's nod.

Tonight's result means that the reigning Norwegian league champion leads his group in the Europa Conference League by eight points.

The team is still undefeated and has one point down to just Roma who are second.

The other two teams in the group are Ukrainian Zorya and CSKA-Sofia from Bulgaria.
