These will take place from July 26 to August 11, 2024. The Paralympic events will take place between August 28 and September 8, 2024. The Actu Hauts-de-Seine website recalled that the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games Parisians of 1924 had for setting the Stade Yves-du-Manoir.

In three years, the site of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games will host field hockey matches.

Tens of millions of euros of work

Work began there last summer for a total budget estimated at 94.2 million euros.

Two phases are planned, including the construction of two synthetic sports fields, a grandstand, changing rooms and offices.

The Paris La Défense Arena and its 40,000 seats were originally intended to be used for gymnastics competitions.

They will eventually be replaced by swimming and water polo events.
