The electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla has recalled 11,704 vehicles due to a failure in its software system, as reported on Tuesday by the National Highway Traffic Safety Authority (Nhtsa, for its acronym in English).
The failure affects the
four current models of vehicles marketed by the company
: the Model S, the Model X, the Model 3 and the Model Y. According to the documentation sent to the Nhtsa, there is a communication failure in the 'software '' from vehicles that could lead to a
"false positive collision warning and / or parking brake problems"
