In the trials in the 100 meter medley, Sarah Sjöström continued to show good form.

At the European Short Course Championships in Kazan, Russia, she was fastest with a time of 58.65.

Emelie Fast, the 17-year-old talent who made it to her first championship final yesterday, also made it to the semifinals.

A fourth place in the time 59.86 took her further.

The semifinals will be decided later tonight.

Rosvall further

It also went well for 21-year-old Hanna Rosvall, who advanced to the semifinals in the 200 meter backstroke despite some worries.

A thirteenth place and a time of 2: 08.26 was enough for promotion.

- It was a little stressful.

I've had a hard time backstroke the last year.

In the past, I have been quite comfortable in the distance, but then I got a bit of a death knell at the swim open last time, I got a small barrier of 200 meters back, I hold back a little unconsciously, says Rosvall to the Swedish swimming association.
