Bayern Munich coach reveals which player deserves the Ballon d'Or

Bayern Munich coach Julian Nagelsmann revealed that Robert Lewandowski will be looking to score 100 Champions League goals, after the Poland striker netted three times in the 5-2 win over Benfica on Tuesday.

In his 100th Champions League match, Lewandowski scored 81 goals and secured Bayern qualification for the playoffs before the last two rounds.

Nagelsmann said people would talk about Lewandowski's hat-trick, but what caught his eye was the 33-year-old's "feel good" playing in the last half hour.

"He plays in every attacking position and wants to get every ball," he added.

He starts good attacks... he always wants to score more goals.

And I follow: His numbers are amazing.. Now we are looking forward to reaching 100 goals in the Champions League.

Perhaps not this year, but we hope that he will achieve that.

Only Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi have reached 100 goals in the Champions League.

In response to a question about the comparison between Lewandowski, Messi and Ronaldo, Nagelsmann said: "I think the three players have been amazing in the past few years. I think Leva can achieve a lot, also at an older age, because of his physical strength, his lifestyle and his way of life as a footballer, he will continue To be the best striker in the world because he does everything to maintain that.
