An all-female referee team made history after taking over a football league match for the first time in Jordan.

Israa Mobaideen moderated the match between Sahab and Al-Baqaa clubs at Prince Mohammed Stadium in Zarqa, with the cooperation of her fellow assistants Sabreen Al-Abadi, Islam Al-Abadi and Hanin Murad as a fourth referee.

Esraa described her experience as "a source of pride" and said: "It feels very sweet. I mean, I ruled a final, I ruled international matches outside Jordan, the West Asian final, women's teams, but the feeling of the professional league was not present. The big players, I mean, most or all of them are taller than me, but With that, I was present in the character, praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds.. the feeling was pride.

Esraa considers that this step means a lot, especially the woman's ability to carry out various tasks.

She added, "Our presence in the community, our influence in the community, for me is also an ambition as well as important, that I am influential in my community, in the place I am in. My presence in the professionals gives an opportunity, gives a sweet image of feminist arbitration. It is possible for women other than me to arbitrate the arbitration wire to be present. Can I convey an image in the community?" The local is, no, it's the lady who can be anywhere."

And she talked about the first moments and said, "The players, I mean, at the beginning... The first thing we entered was smiling. It meant that there were young boys who were under control, I mean, they were surprised by the idea and smiling. They were nice, entering the stadium was not strict, there was no disrespect, there was no joke at all. The referee Referee... Outside the stadium, we smile, but on the pitch, I'm a referee. It's over. The matter is over."

The decision to appoint an all-women referee team came within the efforts of the Jordan Football Association and its president, Prince Ali, to promote the game among women.

After achieving one of her ambitions to manage the matches of the Jordanian Professional Football League, Israa Mobaideen aspires to one day participate in the refereeing of the World Cup matches for men and women.
