The meeting between FC Chavanoz and Torcy, two teams from the 2nd futsal division, did not come to an end on Sunday in Bourgoin-Jallieu (Isère).

The players of Seine-et-Marne have indeed decided not to resume the match when there was only one minute left, due to racist insults.

As reported by

Le Parisien

, the black footballers of Torcy have thus suffered repeated attacks from spectators in the stands.

“I have morally strong players but seeing them affected like that is hard.

We can not trivialize that (...) Racism like that, we had never seen it, "says assistant coach Hatem Mhabouli to the daily Ile-de-France.

According to the coach, his players have also received projectiles and sputum.

A version contested by FC Chavanoz

On Chavanoz's side, it is believed that the situation has become tense because of Torcy's behavior.

The club president disputes the version of his opponents: “It was Torcy's attitude that caused the match to degenerate.

There was a red card, it caused a scuffle on the pitch.

The player returned to the pitch, he was very vehement and he threw a bottle of water into the audience.

It was he who agitated the supporters ”.

The two clubs are each preparing their report on these incidents.

Because according to RMC Sport, an investigation was opened within the federal disciplinary commission of the French Football Federation.
