Erling Haaland's agent, Borussia Dortmund's top scorer, confirmed that the deal to sell the Norwegian striker may reach 300 million euros (348 million dollars).

German Volker Struth, Halland's agent, told the weekly "Sport Bild" today, Wednesday, that these huge sums will mean the departure of the 21-year-old Norwegian sniper next year and his non-continuation in the Bundesliga.

He added, "I think that the transfer deal takes place in 2022, Haaland has a penalty clause (in his contract), the full package, including the salary for 5 years, and the agent's commission, most likely, will range between 250 to 300 million euros."

The transfer of Brazilian striker Neymar from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain in 2017 is the most expensive in the world so far, with a value of 222 million euros.

Halland, who is currently suffering from an injury, moved to Dortmund in early 2020 from Austrian Salzburg, and his contract with the German team extends until 2024.

A group of major clubs in Europe are seeking to include Halland.

Struth has ruled out a move to Bayern Munich due to the high value of the deal, as well as the value of the player's salary, which may reach 50 million euros.

Struth pointed out that "even if Bayern had this amount, he would not do it, it would be like hell if a player in Germany got 50 million euros."

Struth expected that Haaland's decision would be based on the club through which he would win titles such as the European Champions League.

He concluded by saying, "His decision will not depend only on money, 10% more or less will not be the decisive factor."
