Last season, the teams met in a tight quarter-final series that Skellefteå eventually won 4-3 in matches.

Even tonight it was even - at least initially.

But in game four against four, the first goal of the match came when visiting Luleå took command.

After a game reversal, Daniel Sondell managed to keep out of the Skellefteå defenders and set his first goal of the season behind Gustav Lindvall, who earlier today was selected in the squad for the Karjala Tournament.

- It was fun to see it go in, it was not directly the most beautiful goal, says Sondell, who has a past in both Skellefteå and its arch-rival Björklöven, to C More.

The home fans thought it was much more beautiful that Skellefteå's equalizer two minutes into the second period was.

Jonathan Pudas stayed ahead after a technical in the offensive zone and steered in 1-1.

- It is probably the easiest goal you have made in your career, says Skellefteå's points king Pudas to C More.

The goal gave Skellefteå new energy and it did not take long before team captain Oscar Möller scored 2-1 on a goalkeeper return.

Before the second period was over, Luleå had equalized to 2-2.

Then Skellefteå put real pressure directly in the third - and captain Möller struck again.

And just a couple of minutes later also came 4-2 and 5-2 - the most beautiful goal of the match.

First, Jonathan Johnson came free in front of Joel Lassinantti and easily pushed a pass behind the Luleå goalkeeper.

Then it was Melker Karlsson's turn in powerplay.

The victory means that Skellefteå broke the two-match losing streak.
