* In parentheses the distances they compete in during the European Championships

The expert on the Swedish medal chances:

- Of course it is mainly about Sarah Sjöström.

She has a medal chance in everything she does.

Then we also have Erik Persson, who took silver in Glasgow 2019 and has shown good form this autumn.

Erik has his big chance in the 200 meter breaststroke, says SVT's expert Lars Frölander.

Can any Swedes surprise?

- I hope that some can surprise.

There are several who should be able to be in the final.

Such as Emelie Fast and Hanna Rosvall.

There are pretty good Swedish final chances, but from there to a medal is something completely different, says Frölander.

Sarah Sjöström:

Sweden's, and one of the championship's biggest stars.

Has won eight gold, eleven silver, one bronze and a total of 20 medals at the short track European Championships since 2008. In this year's European Championships she competes in the 50 meter freestyle, 100 freestyle, 50 butterfly, 100 butterfly and 100 medley.

She has more or less a golden chance at all distances and starts with Tuesday's attempt at 50 free.

- The sprint distances 50 freestyle and 50 butterfly are her favorite, where she will perform well and have her greatest chances for gold, says Lars Frölander.
