The International Federation of History and Statistics included the name of Mohamed El-Shennawy, goalkeeper of Al-Ahly club and the Egyptian national team, in the short list of the award for the best goalkeeper in the world, in a huge ceremony to be held at the end of November.
El-Shennawy was on the list, along with 19 top goalkeepers: Gianluigi Donnarumma (Italy), Manuel Neuer (Germany), Thibaut Courtois (Belgium), Kasper Schmeichel (Denmark), and Jordan Pickford (England).
